Training, courses and workshops

OreKnot Creative Hub was founded in 2014 to provide West Wales and the surrounding area with training opportunities for businesses and the local community alike.

We offer an unrivalled package of bespoke training opportunities, including accredited and non-accredited courses and skill development opportunities.

Course resources and materials, including handouts, presentations and delegate packs, are produced in house by experts in teaching and learning. Each course can be fully customised to follow a bespoke brief, ensuring the learning needs of each individual client are met.

Our trainers have a wealth of experience, from working as teachers in busy urban schools, often with vulnerable pupils to care for, to training environments as varied as care home, airlines and the Royal Navy. All of our tutors hold a current DBS check.

Much of our training takes place at our unique learning facility in the centre of Carmarthen.

Our facilities include a vibrant communal space - used for theoretical training, informal ice breaker acitivities, textile and paper based practical workshops, as well as lunch and refreshment breaks; two dedicated workshops - covering woodwork, metal work and casting facilities, pottery, enamelling and CAD-CAM; and a self service cafe area.
