Conforming to Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, this accredited qualification covers a wide variety of topics including the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, assessing an incident and treating responsive and unresponsive casualties. Delivered over a one day course this qualification is assessed through oral and written questioning with practical demonstrations.
Through completion of the course, you will:
Understand the roles and responsibilities of a First Aider in the work place
Know how to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
Be able to access an incident
Be able to manage:
an unresponsive casualty who is/is not breathing normally
